Materials Fee
A separate charge to cover the cost of disposable supplies, such as needles, ink and protective items used in the session.
Many artists already fold this cost into the tattoo's final price, but some prefer to break out the materials fee separately — especially in itemized quotes or when the project requires special ink and a higher volume of disposables. Being clear about what's included in the price avoids the feeling of a "hidden cost" when the client gets the final bill.
